When this folding chair is not being used the back rest can be folded and locked down so that the entire top part of the seat with seating area and back rest can be pivoted to the side. In limited space situations like conductor cabins with access from behind enough space can be created using this method to allow the conductor to get past the seat to the front area of the cabin.
The height of the seat can be adjusted
up to 80 mm (3 inches) and the angle of the back rest can be
changed up to 16 degrees. Additionally, the seating area can be
pulled out or pushed back for up to 120 mm (4.7 inches).
